Welcome to the County!  Are you ready for the adventure?  You could be one of the first to uncover a secret treasure of epicurean delight on our island.  You just need to explore a little bit.  Don’t know where to start?  We can help.

Come to our place for an orientation to the food and wine on offer in the County.  We’re near the main intersection in Wellington, where farmers, vintners and artists cross paths to create a very special place.

We opened the East and Main Bistro on this corner because we knew that the local meats, vegetables and cheeses, presented with a little cosmopolitan flair, would captivate your senses.  From five spice magret duck breast with barley squash risotto, to steak and fries – we’ll take you from the sublime to the grounded. Every plate is prepared with careful respect for the agricultural heritage of the County.  Our chef, Lili Sullivan, has a loyal following who crave her unique take on classic comfort foods.

There is more, however, to your County initiation.   Proprietors Kimberly Humby and David O’Connor will help match the perfect County wine to your choice of meal. You may begin to sense the distinctive County connection between earth and sky, nature and man’s labor…
